Keeping Belfast Maine Beautiful 2026: Cleaning Up Close to Home

On Friday, May 8, 2026, the Belfast community came together once again for the annual Keeping Belfast Maine Beautiful (KBMB) roadside cleanup. This year’s event took on a lighter format—focused purely on action and community impact—but the results were just as meaningful.

Volunteers gathered across key areas, including the Route 1 Bypass and surrounding roads, dedicating their morning to keeping Belfast clean and welcoming. With no formal lunch or giveaways this year, the emphasis remained on what matters most: showing up and making a difference.

We’re proud to share that team members from Ducktrap, along with our neighbors at GO Logic, participated in this year’s effort. Our group focused on cleaning up Little River Drive—the road that leads to Ducktrap—helping to keep our immediate surroundings clean and cared for.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy. It’s always inspiring to see the Belfast community come together in support of a shared goal.

Looking to get involved in future efforts? KBMB continues to organize cleanups throughout the season—join a team or learn more by reaching out to KBMB04915@gmail.com or connecting through their Facebook group.
