8 oz. Ducktrap Hot Honey Cold Smoked Salmon, at room temperature
4 bagels, sliced and lightly toasted
Optional toppings: thinly sliced cucumber, tomato, or avocado
For the Lemon & Chive Cream Cheese
12 oz. cream cheese, softened
¾ cup fresh chives, finely snipped
4 Tbsp flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
2 Tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped
2 Tbsp lemon zest
Juice of 1 lemon
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Make the cream cheese spread: In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, chives, parsley, basil, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir until smooth and evenly blended. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble the bagels: Spread a generous layer of the Lemon & Chive Cream Cheese on each toasted bagel half.
Top each half with about 1 oz. of Ducktrap Hot Honey Cold Smoked Salmon.
Add optional toppings like sliced cucumber, tomato, or avocado, if desired.
Serve immediately.
